One of the most exciting things that could happen to me happened! One of my engagement photos taken in Denver in front of the Metropolitan Art Museum made it to Times Square for a Denver tourism advertisement. Thanks Keely and Tom for making it easy to take a great photo!

I was so excited be able to shoot Brandon and Jessica’s engagement photos in Newport Beach, CA. Crystal Cove is a little oasis tucked away in the cliffs right on the beach. The light in California is always so perfect and brings a warm glow to the photos. Brandon and Jessica had so much fun playing in the water and with each other. I just love California and I am so excited to shoot their wedding.

As Colorado natives, it’s hard to beat a wedding on a gorgeous blue bird day in January with snow all around. Molly and Jacob love to ski together in Winter Park, CO. So it was very fitting for them to have a winter wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch. They were enjoying the moment so much they almost forgot it was barely 20 degrees outside and they didn’t have coats on. The Fabulous Rami Carter with Pick Me! Weddings transformed the Broad Ave Barn into a winter wonderland with the creative snowflake theme and floral arrangements. The night was a smash and the Steve Manchel Band brought the house down.

First, I love Becky and Scott they are such fun people. They have such an exciting story. They met on Match.com and would both e-mail back and forth while relaxing in a coffee shop. Notice the photos in a coffee shop below. Without meeting Scott she knew she had to take a chance. Becky picked up and moved from California to Colorado without knowing anyone. She made the right choice, the two are so in love and getting married this summer. Becky and Scott’s story is one that makes you believe in the saying, “when you know, you know” . We did their engagement photos on a gorgeous fall morning. I am not sure if I have ever seen leaves as red and vibrant as the leaves in this park.

The little things are the big things. It is never being too old to hold hands. It’s remembering to say “I love you” at least once a day. It is never going to sleep angry. It is at no time taking the other for granted; the courtship should not end with the honeymoon. The Art of Marriage, is a poem that was read during the ceremony at Debbie and Andrew’s wedding, the whole poem  speaks volumes for what it means to be married. It was a gorgeous fall day at Boettcher Mansion with warm temperatures and golden leaves, a great day for a wedding. Debbie and Andrew were so ready to be married to each other. Stephanie Kuhn from Bella Notte did such an amazing job with coordination and designed a divine wedding. She is so great to work with!

I am blogging a holiday shoot a little late but I just love this couple and these photos so I had to get it up. Alli and Erik are such a fun couple to work with. They had their engagement photos done at Bel Mar Shopping Center in Lakewood, CO. You would never think it would be an amazing place for photos until you go there in the winter and see the gorgeous holiday lights and decorations around. We had a fun afternoon filled with laughter, holiday lights and wine! I can’t wait for the wedding next winter!

I hope when I get married I look into my husbands eyes the way Keely looks into Tom’s and vice versa. They are a couple you watch and know they are meant to be together. They were married on a gorgeous October day at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, CO. The Colorado weather in October is always up in the air, but we got a 70 degree day. Kara Delay with Love This Day-Kara Delay Events flawlessly coordinated and designed the stunning wedding. Check out Keely’s bouquet. I have never seen anything like it. Keely glowed and had so much fun in her Junko Yokshioka dress from Anna Be Boutique. They ended the evening with lots of dancing as well as fun with the photo booth!

It’s such an honor to see the love a couple and family have for each other behind the camera. I get to see different emotions of a wedding day that I normally would’t get to. Amy and Dave were married on a snowy day in the Timber House at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, CO. It was very important for them to incorporate their four beautiful children into the wedding. That’s just what they did. They had eighteen month old twins who were adorable and brought a lot of humor to the day. Their daughter did a great job serving the ice cream and brownies instead of cake at the reception. I love kids! The fantastic Kara Delay from Love This Day Events-Kara Delay Weddings designed the stunning floral arrangements. She is ALWAYS  amazing to work with! It’s weddings like this that remind you how important family is!

Keely and Tom were engaged at The Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver, CO. We tried to replay the story of the night of their engagement in their photos. They began the evening they were engaged at The Corner Office bar in The Curtis. They love to watch Mad Men together so we tried to capture the Mad Men/70’s theme and feeling. We then headed into the actual hotel room they were engaged in and then downtown for more photos. I had so much fun doing their engagement photos and the wedding was even better and coming to the blog soon!!!

Amanda and Erik had one thing in mind on their wedding day and that was to have some fun. The Manor House in Littleton, CO is always the perfect place for a gorgeous wedding. Anytime there is a wedding at the Manor House it’s going to be a great time and the dancing never ends. The guest of honor was little toy man they call, Rick Lumburgh. He was a big part of the reception and attends many events with the fun group. The Butlers Pantry put together the amazing flowers and details of the day.
