I couldn’t be happier that Shannon found the man of her dreams. I met Shannon a few years ago and she is one of those people that has the best outlook on life, always has a smile on her face and ready for a good time. Shannon and Scott are perfect together and are complete together. I asked Shannon a few questions about her wedding day.
In your words, how did you and Scott meet?
We met at work about 8 years ago but just never had a strong attraction to each other due to the place we both were in our lives with other relationships or whatever. Things happened to change and we started talking more and more. He then asked me out on Christmas and that was it! Timing is everything!
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
My favorite moment was shaking our booties down the aisle when the ceremony was done! We were MARRIED now!!! And it was time to party!!
Were there any funny moments to be remembered forever about your day? Were there any mishaps?
Due to not having a rehearsal, my Dad seemed to forget he was the one to respond “her mother and I do” when asked who gives this woman in marriage. Made for great laughs and great memories!
Do you have any advice for a future bride to be/or groom before their wedding?
You don’t have to spend a ton to have your dream wedding. Spend the money on what you can look back on i.e. photo and video, what you need to have fun with the people that mean the most, and at the end of the day, all will be perfect no matter what!! We have watched our video a ton and I look at photos almost every day!!
