Karen moved to Boulder in
1978 to go to business school at the University of Colorado. She met her hubby,
Steve while working her way through college along with finding her passion for
photography. Together they owned a men’s and women’s clothing store on the Historical Pearl Street mall for over
40 years where she also became a stylist and fashion and lifestyle photographer
for newspapers and magazines.

She is no stranger to
photography as her dad was a professional photographer who instilled the passion for the lens in her while growing up.

Karen and Steve are also
Casey’s parents so I am glad that romance worked out.

Karen had a love for fashion photography, and while owning the store did that until Casey began Two One in 2010. Karen still faithfully helps Two One as a Second Photographer and with marketing.
