Who are the lead photographers with Two One Photography?
Casey Van Horn is the owner and lead photographer of Two One Photography. Vanessa Miranda (Casey’s Sister-in-Law) joined in 2016 and is also a Lead Photographer.
Do we have Second Photographers?
Yes, we do. We are lucky enough to have the same team of 3-4 people that work consistently with us. A few wonderful photographers who work with us are Karen Wigotow (mom), Hilliary Adams, Lea Bonzer, Sarah Eddleman.
How long has Two One Photography been in business?
Two One began the winter of 2009 and has been growing ever since.
How many weddings and events do you photograph per year? 35-45 weddings and 50-100 events and shoots per year.
How would you describe your style?
Our style is combining a mixture of photojournalism with traditional photography and fine art photography. We are natural light photographers and love chasing the light. We want to tell the story of the day in the most beautiful way possible, through the bride and groom’s eyes.
What distinguishes you from other photographers?
We do this because we love it. We don’t want to just be your photographer; we want to get to know who you are and what your style is. Every wedding, family and event is different we want to capture the essence of the day and your personalities. We go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and everything is perfect.
The best part about photographs is the people may grow and change but the memory of that moment never will.
Do you have a portfolio I can review?
Are all of the images yours, and is the work recent? All images are shot and edited by Two One Photography. Check out our website and blog to view more images. The blog is constantly being updated.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We only use Professional Nikon DLSR Camera’s and professional series lenses, flashes and other accessories needed to get the job done. We also have back up lenses, batteries, memory cards and cameras for each of us.
We have 2 cameras and lenses on us at all times.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual wedding?
Absolutely! We wouldn’t miss your wedding for anything! Not even a hurricane or tornado.
Are you shooting in digital or film format or both?
All events are shot in digital RAW format. This ensures a smooth seamless workflow to make sure we capture every moment.
Do you shoot in color and black and white? Both?
Since we shoot in digital and RAW format all images can be changed to any color styles and lend itself to endless post editing possibilities. We can edit it anyway the client prefers as well.
Will I own the rights to my images?
Yes, the client gets all rights to images. We will use them for blogging or if the client is interested in getting the images published in a magazine or blog.
How and when will I receive my images?
We typically deliver weddings within 3 weeks and smaller shoots within a week. They are delivered through an online delivery service called Pixieset.
Can I give you a list of specific shots we would like?
Absolutely! We try to get every moment we possibly can as well as all the details. We always request a family shot list with names and groupings for the family photos as well. We would love to follow you on Pinterest, that way we can get a feel for your style.
If my wedding site is out of your area, do you charge a travel fee and what does that cover?
Anything out of the Local area from Denver, to Fort Collins, to Breckenridge and to Colorado Springs there is a $150 hotel fee if we work after 9:30 pm. That will be discussed further at the consultation .
How will you (and your assistants) be dressed? We always dress conservative and wear all black. Some may say we look like photo ninjas.
Is it okay if other people take photos while you’re taking photos?
The guests can take as many photos as they would like as long as they are not in the way of any photos being taken by Two One Photography.
If my event lasts longer than expected, will you stay? Is there an additional charge?
Yes, an additional hourly charge does apply and we will stay as late as you want us.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes up to $1,000,000. Specific venues may require their name be added to the policy
Do you have a photo booth?
Yes, we have an open-air photo booth with multiple backdrops and props. Ask Casey or Vanessa for more details.
Do you travel out of Colorado?Yes, we do! We will go anywhere from Utah to Timbuktu to London. We are up for any adventure!
